I.O.I's Choi Yoojung and Jung Chaeyeon Showcase Their Unbreakable Bond
On the 25th, Choi Yoojung shared on her Instagram story, "Jung Chaeyeon's heartwarming story. She's a true honorary firefighter," along with two photos.
The photos reveal a conversation between Choi Yoojung and Jung Chaeyeon. Choi asked Chaeyeon, "Unnie, where did you get those sweet potato sticks you gave me last time?" and sent a product link asking, "Is it this one?" In response, Chaeyeon replied, "Hold on," and within a minute, she sent the product to Yoojung as a gift.
Chaeyeon expressed her affection by saying, "Accept it, it's from my heart." Surprised by the unexpected gift, Yoojung responded, "Oh my goodness!" showing her gratitude and surprise.
The duo debuted in May 2016 as part of the project group I.O.I through Mnet's survival program 'Produce 101.' The members are reportedly preparing for a reunion to celebrate their 10th anniversary this year. However, Kang Mina, who has transitioned to acting, will not be participating due to her upcoming project schedule.
The concert venue has reportedly been booked. Member Yoo Yeonjung hinted at the reunion during a radio appearance last December, saying, "We are indeed gathering. I can't reveal details, but think of the warm spring when we debuted."
