Actors Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun Halt Plans for Second Child
South Korean actors Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun have announced that they are halting their plans for a second child as the new year begins.

On January 1st, Jin Tae-hyun shared a heartfelt message on his social media account, stating, "Hello, this is Park Si-eun and Jin Tae-hyun. We hope everyone is doing well. As the new year dawns, we have decided to stop dreaming and hoping for a second child."

Jin Tae-hyun expressed, "Our Tae-eun was our only biological child. She was a child of great significance, different from what we commonly refer to as a miscarriage. She gifted us with the experience, memories, joy, and happiness of expecting a child."

'Tae-eun' was the name given to the baby they were expecting in 2022. Tragically, Tae-eun was lost 20 days before the expected delivery date for unknown reasons.

Jin Tae-hyun continued, "We are deeply grateful for all the love and support, but we feel it's time to stop. In life, there are natural orders and boundaries that must be respected. We understand that letting go and giving up is necessary to start anew, even though it breaks our hearts."

He added, "Many have recommended good hospitals, methods, and medicines through DMs and comments, but we know that the ultimate answer lies with God, the giver of life. Beyond being a couple, life holds little meaning for us now."

Jin Tae-hyun also shared, "Sometimes, I become my wife's son, and she becomes my daughter, as we fill in the gaps for each other. We have chosen a life dedicated to loving my wife even more. Though we cannot have biological children, we will cherish the daughters who call us mom and dad, living warmly and beautifully in God's love."

He concluded, "From the beginning, having my wife was enough for me. I am grateful for the past five years of efforts with my wife, and I want to cherish those memories. Thank you all for your support and expectations. Now, please support us as we live beautifully together."
