Actor Jung Suk-won Sells Gold Ring for Wife Baek Ji-young's Gift: A Heartfelt Year-End Story

Actor Jung Suk-won revealed that he sold a gold ring to buy an expensive gift for his wife, singer Baek Ji-young.

On the 27th, a video titled 'From Diamond Rings to Razors?! Baek Ji-young and Jung Suk-won's Year-End Gift Recommendations End in Tears' was uploaded to Baek Ji-young's YouTube channel.

In the video, the couple discussed their 'year-end gift' recommendations. They shared their 'gift philosophy,' saying, "We don't usually give gifts. If there's something special we want on an anniversary, we buy it for each other."

Baek Ji-young confessed, "I used to think exchanging gifts was important, but after getting married, we stopped doing it."

Jung Suk-won surprised viewers by admitting, "When we were dating, she gave me such extravagant gifts. She bought me two pairs of John Lobb shoes worth XXXX won. She said if she only bought one, I might run away."

As a result, Jung Suk-won sold his Marine Corps Reconnaissance Unit discharge ring, made of three and a half don of pure gold, to buy a gift for Baek Ji-young. He added, "Later, I told her not to give me gifts anymore."

Baek Ji-young named a diamond ring worth XXX won as the most expensive gift she received from her husband. Jung Suk-won expressed his affection, saying, "Her close friend Yuri received a diamond ring, and she was envious. She said, 'I want a ring too,' so I bought it for her when I had a lump sum of money."

When a portable razor was suggested as a year-end gift, Baek Ji-young humorously remarked, "I want to grow a beard too." Jung Suk-won playfully responded, "You already have one," and pretended to shave her, showcasing his playful side.
