Actress Park Ha-sun Pays Tribute to Late Actor Lee Soon-jae
On the October 26th broadcast of SBS PowerFM's 'Park Ha-sun's Cine Town,' actor Lee Joo-an appeared as a guest. During the show, Park Ha-sun began by quoting a line from the 2018 film 'Stand by Me,' starring Lee Soon-jae.
Park Ha-sun expressed, "Like a grandfather who warmly welcomes you when you open the gate of a cozy country house, actor Lee Soon-jae felt like family when the screen lit up. It feels surreal that he has left us." She added, "There is a significant void in the film industry, and my heart aches deeply."
She further shared, "I regret not having had the chance to meet him in person. I hope he finds eternal happiness where he is now."
Meanwhile, Lee Soon-jae passed away in the early hours of October 25th, surrounded by his family, at the age of 91. His memorial is set up at Room 30 of the Seoul Asan Medical Center Funeral Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The funeral will take place on October 27th at 6:20 AM, and he will be laid to rest at Eden Paradise in Icheon.
