Jang Yoon-ju Unveils Her Dark Ambitions in 'Good Girl, Busemi'

Jang Yoon-ju is making waves with her villainous role in the Genie TV original series 'Good Girl, Busemi'.
In the series, Jang portrays Ga Sun-young, a seemingly devoted theater and film professor who appears to care deeply for her stepfather, Ga Sung-ho (played by Moon Sung-keun). However, she is a ruthless psychopath who uses money and power to get what she wants, disregarding others' emotions. Jang Yoon-ju skillfully portrays Ga Sun-young's cold and calculating nature as she reveals her dark desire for Chairman Ga's inheritance.
As she dives into the inheritance battle, Ga Sun-young unveils her hidden ambitions. She successfully gathers the directors of Ga Sung Group, exploiting their weaknesses to keep them under her control. Jang captures the essence of a psychopath with her icy gaze and expressionless demeanor.
Jang Yoon-ju also showcases an elegant and sophisticated style befitting the owner family of Ga Sung Group. Her first appearance at her mother's memorial service in a black two-piece exudes an aura of sophistication. From leopard print coats to oversized shirts, Jang elevates Ga Sun-young's character with luxurious fashion choices. Notably, she uses bold colors like red and blue to enhance the intensity of scenes where she wields power and threatens others. As a top model, Jang actively contributed her ideas to the styling and even used her own wardrobe for certain scenes.
To embody her first villainous role, Jang adopts a different visual and vocal approach, chilling viewers with her performance. In tense confrontation scenes, her cold yet firm voice captivates the audience, seamlessly transitioning between various emotions to maintain the drama's flow.
'Good Girl, Busemi', featuring Jang Yoon-ju, airs on ENA every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM. It is exclusively available for free VOD on KT Genie TV immediately after the broadcast and can be streamed on the OTT platform TVING.
