On the 20th, HLL, the organizer of the Golden Disc Awards, announced that Song Joong-ki, Byun Woo-seok, and Ahn Hyo-seop will grace the stage as presenters at the 40th Golden Disc Awards, scheduled to be held on January 10, 2026, at the Taipei Dome.

This prestigious K-pop music festival will bring together three global stars who have shone in Korean films and dramas. The event will celebrate the most beloved K-pop artists of the past year alongside these actors, showcasing the current status of K-content on a grand stage.

Song Joong-ki, who recently showcased a warm and beautiful romantic drama in JTBC's 'My Youth,' is a leading figure in K-content. He will bring a different flair to the awards ceremony, marking a spectacular finale to the festival. Having previously attended the 37th Golden Disc Awards in Bangkok in 2023, where he remarked on the power of K-pop, his return to meet global fans after three years adds significant meaning. His presence as a special presenter is expected to shine once again.

Byun Woo-seok continues his deep connection with K-pop. His song 'Rain Shower,' from the 2024 tvN drama 'Escape with Seonjae,' surpassed 100 million streams, earning acclaim for his live performances on various stages worldwide. Recognized for his musical talent by fans globally, he plans to engage with the K-pop fandom in a special way at this awards ceremony. Despite a busy schedule with upcoming projects like MBC's '21st Century Grand Lady' and Netflix's 'Solo Leveling,' he accepted the invitation to the Golden Disc Awards.

Ahn Hyo-seop, who has grown as a representative of Korean romantic comedies and now leads the global sensation 'Lion Boys,' will also appear at the 40th Golden Disc Awards. Returning to the stage after four years, he is particularly notable for his role in the Netflix animation 'K-pop Demon Hunters,' which surpassed 300 million views, solidifying his status as a prominent global actor.
