Seohyun of Girls' Generation Shares Her Latest Updates on YouTube

On the 18th, Seohyun appeared on the YouTube channel 'Yubin's Spot Light'.
During the episode, Yubin revealed that she began her YouTube channel with Seohyun as her first guest. Seohyun expressed, "I should have appeared sooner," adding, "Apart from broadcasts and award shows, we haven't done much together. This is the first time in 19 years since my debut that we're doing something just the two of us," reflecting on the special occasion.
The two discussed their friendship as representatives of the second-generation girl groups, Girls' Generation and Wonder Girls. Yubin confessed, "Before debuting, I was a fan of Seohyun from Girls' Generation. I even mentioned it on the radio. I wanted to support the youngest member who worked hard and lived righteously."

Seohyun shared, "I used to practice Wonder Girls' songs and choreography in the waiting room," and added, "I wanted to get closer, but we were too busy and had separate waiting rooms, so we rarely crossed paths." Yubin humorously remarked, "Our companies avoided each other during comebacks. Was it business ethics?"
As former rivals of the second-generation girl groups, they admitted, "It felt like we shouldn't get close, but since we're of similar age and share common interests, we formed a bond." Seohyun, who grew closer to Yubin through brunches and tennis, expressed, "I believe connections aren't forced."

Currently on a break after her drama, Seohyun shared, "I've been indulging in hobbies lately, playing the piano for 2-3 hours a day. I used to have arthritis. I'm an all-or-nothing type of person," she confessed. Without a clock in her practice room, she explained, "Looking at the time feels like doing homework," and expressed her desire to relearn the violin and try ballet again.
Seohyun, who stated, "I'm very happy right now," added, "It's been a while since I've rested so comfortably. For now, I'm focusing on my life, and if a good script comes along, I might consider starting a new project."
