BLACKPINK's Rosé Faces Racism Allegations Amid Paris Fashion Show Appearance

BLACKPINK member Rosé has found herself embroiled in a racism controversy. However, she maintained a cool demeanor, choosing to share her thoughts on the fashion show rather than addressing the issue directly.

On October 1st, Rosé reposted a photo with singer Charli XCX originally shared by luxury brand Saint Laurent. She also shared a video from the fashion show, expressing her gratitude by saying, "Thank you for inviting me to such an amazing show. Your work is beautiful. Love you."

Rosé attended the 'Saint Laurent 2026 Spring/Summer Women's Collection Show' in Paris on September 29th as a global ambassador. The event was graced by global celebrities such as Charli XCX, model Hailey Bieber, and actress-model Zoë Kravitz.

Controversy arose when Elle UK posted a photo on social media where Rosé was cropped out. Further fueling the allegations, Charli XCX shared a photo on her personal account with Rosé's face darkened, sparking accusations of racism. As backlash grew, Charli XCX responded by posting additional photos featuring Rosé.

Rosé has been actively promoting as a global ambassador for Saint Laurent, earning the nickname 'Human Saint Laurent.' Her solo album 'Rosie,' released last year, achieved success on the Billboard charts. In July, she further solidified her global presence with BLACKPINK's album 'Ddu-Du Ddu-Du.' Additionally, her collaboration with Bruno Mars on the song 'Apartment' won the 'Song of the Year' at the MTV Video Music Awards, garnering worldwide recognition.
