Controversy Erupts as ELLE UK Excludes BLACKPINK's Rosé from Saint Laurent Fashion Show Photo
ELLE UK has sparked controversy by posting a group photo from the Saint Laurent fashion show on social media, excluding BLACKPINK's Rosé. Some online users have questioned whether the edit was racially motivated.

On September 30th, during the Saint Laurent 2026 S/S Women's Collection in Paris, ELLE UK shared a group photo on their official Instagram. The photo included model Hailey Bieber, actress Zoë Kravitz, and singer Charli XCX, but Rosé, who was present at the event, was missing from the image.

The issue arose because the original photo did include Rosé. Other outlets, such as W Magazine, published the same photo showing Rosé standing to the right of the three women. As Rosé is an official global ambassador for Saint Laurent, the fact that she was cropped out has led to increased criticism.

The post received numerous comments questioning the exclusion, with remarks like "Why was Rosé removed?", "Incomprehensible editing", and "Is this racism?" Some netizens suggested a racial bias, pointing out the exclusion of an Asian individual.

Additionally, the controversy intensified when it was revealed that Charli XCX posted a photo on her Instagram where Rosé was obscured by a shadow.
