Former Cats Member Kim Ji-hye Rushed to ER for Emergency C-Section

Kim Ji-hye, formerly of the group Cats, was rushed to the emergency room once again.

On the 8th, Kim Ji-hye's Instagram story featured a message from her husband, Choi Sung-wook, who began by saying, "I'm writing on behalf of my wife."

Choi Sung-wook shared, "At around 3:30 AM, her water broke and there was bleeding, so we rushed to the ER. The delivery was already well underway, and it seems an emergency C-section will be performed," along with a photo.

The photo showed Kim Ji-hye appearing to be in the delivery room. Choi expressed, "I wish I could be by her side, but there's nothing I can do. I just hope for the health of my wife and children."

Later that night, around 9 PM, Choi updated his Instagram story with, "Everyone is okay. Thank you for your concern," indicating the surgery was successful.

Previously, on the 2nd, Kim Ji-hye had also made an urgent visit to the ER. She shared that "the contractions were constant and intense, and the fetal movements were unusually strong and painful," and posted a photo of herself receiving an epidural, causing concern among her followers.

Kim Ji-hye debuted with Cats in 2007 and married Choi Sung-wook (Ace), formerly of the group Paran, in 2019. The couple received congratulations from many after successfully conceiving through IVF after six years of marriage.
