Actor Go Kyung-pyo Clarifies Misunderstanding About Jamwon Hangang Park Swimming Pool Renovation

Actor Go Kyung-pyo's misunderstanding has been cleared up.

On the 1st, Go Kyung-pyo shared, “A citizen who filed a complaint received a response stating, 'This is the response to the Jamwon Swimming Pool remodeling complaint. We are not removing the adult section~' and I am sharing it with you. Thank you for sending it.” He posted the response from the Seoul Future Hangang Headquarters Han River Project Promotion Team.

The disclosed response stated, “The Jamwon Hangang Park Swimming Pool was established in 1989 and has become outdated over the past 30 years, leading to decreased user satisfaction and excessive maintenance costs. Therefore, facility improvements are necessary for efficient budget utilization.” It further mentioned, “The swimming pool is planned to target adults primarily, incorporating activities such as swimming, resting, photo zones, and tanning. Additionally, activities like water play and experiential learning are planned for all generations.” The redesign construction is currently in the planning phase, with construction scheduled from 2026 to 2027.

On the 31st of last month, Go Kyung-pyo expressed his disappointment, saying, “It was fun while it lasted, Jamwon Hangang Swimming Pool. I heard that the Jamwon Hangang Swimming Pool will soon undergo remodeling and will no longer be an adult swimming pool. I heard that this year will be the last time we can enjoy swimming as we do now. I sincerely hope it's not true, but it's sad.”
