Previously, Son Ye-jin was embroiled in a controversy regarding her treatment of a child actor. At the press conference for her upcoming film 'Inevitability' on the 19th, she mentioned, "This is my first project after having a child, and it helped me feel natural with my child." Co-star Lee Byung-hun humorously added, "That's different from what I saw on set. The child actress asked many questions, and I kept answering them, but Son Ye-jin never did. I even told her, 'Please answer her,' and she replied, 'Senior, please handle it.'"

Lee Byung-hun's comments sparked a debate about Son Ye-jin's treatment of the child actor, prompting the child actor's mother to clarify, "Son Ye-jin was kind."

Born in 1982, Son Ye-jin is married to fellow actor Hyun Bin, and they have a son together. She is set to make her screen comeback in director Park Chan-wook's new film 'Inevitability.'

The film, featuring Son Ye-jin, Lee Byung-hun, Park Hee-soon, Lee Sung-min, and Yum Hye-ran, will have its world premiere on the third day of the Venice International Film Festival on August 29 and is scheduled for release in South Korea on September 24.
