Gong Hyo-jin Expresses Frustration Over Delayed Film Release

On August 1, Gong Hyo-jin shared a post on her Instagram story originally uploaded by actress Park So-dam. The post featured a photo of Gong Hyo-jin, Lee Jung-eun, Park So-dam, and Lee Yeon standing together. These actors are part of the cast of the film 'Gyeongju Journey.' The movie follows a mother who, upon hearing that the person responsible for her youngest daughter's death has been released, sets out on a journey to Gyeongju with her three daughters to seek revenge.
In the shared post, Gong Hyo-jin commented, "When will our movie be released... For now, congratulations on the release of 'Zombie Daughter,'" referring to Lee Jung-eun's film. She added, "'Gyeongju Journey,' coming soon. A story of a mother and her three daughters on a nerve-wracking journey. Wouldn't you be curious about the revenge?" expressing her hope for her film to be released soon.

Gong Hyo-jin made her debut in the 1999 film 'Whispering Corridors 2' and won the Best Actress award at the KBS Drama Awards in 2019 for 'When the Camellia Blooms.' In 2022, she married singer Kevin Oh, who is ten years her junior, in a private ceremony in New York. Kevin Oh enlisted in the army in December 2022 and was discharged in June.
