G-Dragon Appointed as Ambassador for 2025 APEC Summit in South Korea

K-pop star G-Dragon has been appointed as an ambassador for the APEC Summit.

On the 23rd, South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min-seok announced on Instagram, "I am pleased to introduce the ambassador for the APEC Summit," and shared the exciting news with the public. He stated, "We are appointing G-Dragon, a leading artist of South Korea known for his continuous creativity and innovation, including broadcasting music into space, as the ambassador for the 2025 APEC Summit in Gyeongju." Several photos accompanied the announcement.

The photos revealed Prime Minister Kim preparing the appointment certificate for G-Dragon. However, G-Dragon was absent from the ceremony, leaving Kim to pose alone with the certificate, drawing attention.

Prime Minister Kim emphasized, "From today, 100 days before the summit, watch the synergy between G-Dragon and the APEC Summit."

Although G-Dragon did not attend the event, he expressed his gratitude by liking and sharing Kim's post.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon released his third studio album 'Übermensch' in February, marking his first album in 11 years and five months, which received much acclaim. He has been on a world tour but unexpectedly canceled his Bangkok concert scheduled for August 2nd on July 11th.

Following this, G-Dragon's social media posts have hinted at health issues, causing concern among fans.
