Korean Entertainer Song Eun-yi Opens Up About $52 Million Property Profit and Her Unique Lifestyle

Korean entertainer Song Eun-yi recently shared her candid thoughts on the $52 million profit she made from a property investment.

On October 10, the YouTube channel 'Hello, This is Choi Hwa-jung' released a video titled 'Investment Queen Song Eun-yi's First Look at Her Nature-Inspired Apartment at 50.'

During the episode, Choi Hwa-jung expressed her feelings, saying, "I thought I was late to become independent in my 40s, but Song Eun-yi did it at 50."

Song Eun-yi's home, with its lush forest view, left Choi Hwa-jung in awe. She commented, "It's clean and nice. A CEO should live in a house like this."

Song Eun-yi revealed, "I love nature. I aim for a home that feels like my grandmother's house," explaining that she uses a fan instead of air conditioning and prefers dim lighting. Choi Hwa-jung added, "Even though she seems simple, Eun-yi has a taste for luxury. She uses high-end brands."

Indeed, Song Eun-yi owns an 83-inch TV worth over $7,500. She explained, "My staff comes over to watch TV together. Since my eyesight isn't great, I thought, why not enjoy it on a big screen?"

As the CEO of Media Lab Vivo, Song Eun-yi constructed a building in Sangam-dong. The property's value skyrocketed from $65 million to $117 million, resulting in a $52 million profit.

Originally built on a site that housed a junkyard, Song Eun-yi explained, "I needed space, so I built the office. It wasn't about buying land and constructing a building to make money."

She spent two years searching for the perfect location, noting, "The sun shines beautifully on the junkyard site," and joked, "The land value has increased, but since the building belongs to the bank, it doesn't matter to me."

Meanwhile, as Song Eun-yi focuses on her health, Choi Hwa-jung asked if she could earn $1.5 million by the end of the year, sparking curiosity. Song Eun-yi clarified, "It's not $1.5 million, but $750,000," adding, "When you convert hospital bills into money, they say 1kg of muscle is worth $9,800. Last year, I thought, 'I'll make $750,000.' Having muscle makes a difference," and she shared that she ensures to consume protein daily. Choi Hwa-jung encouraged her, quoting Steve Jobs, "The most expensive bed is a hospital bed."
