Former LABOUM Member Solbin Embarks on Her First Musical Journey

On the afternoon of the 19th, a press call for the musical 'Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight' was held at the Shinhan Card Artium in COEX, Samseong-dong, Seoul. The event was attended by writer Hwang Jung-eun, lyricist Lee Sang-hoon, and actors Lee Joon, Yoon So-ho, Kim In-sung, Jang Min-jae, Solbin, Oh Yoo-min, and Na Hyun-young, who shared various insights about the production.
The musical 'Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight' is based on a famous Japanese novel. It tells the tender and poignant love story of Hino Maori, a girl suffering from anterograde amnesia, which resets her memory every time she sleeps, and Kamiya Toru, an ordinary high school student living a mundane life.

She continued, "I actually told them, 'I don't think this will work,' but the company encouraged me, saying, 'Give it a try. It's a great opportunity and a good project. Aren't you a singer?'"
Solbin added, "In the early days of my debut, I had the courage to say, 'I'll try it,' even if it seemed impossible. I decided to find that initial mindset and took on the challenge."
She also mentioned, "As expected, there were many difficult aspects. The stage involves a lot of commitments, like singing and safety, which added pressure as I gradually learned them. However, my colleagues were a great support, helping me manage my mental state."
Furthermore, she expressed, "Although I still feel the pressure, I'm trying to find joy in the process and show a more resilient and growing self."
