South Korean Soccer Star Jung Woo-young Marries Actress Lee Kwang-gi's Daughter Lee Yeon-ji in Private Ceremony

South Korean national soccer player Jung Woo-young has tied the knot with Lee Yeon-ji, the daughter of actor Lee Kwang-gi.

The couple held a private wedding ceremony on the 15th in Seoul. The event was hosted by popular broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk, who shares a connection with Lee Kwang-gi, and featured a musical performance by singer Sohyang.

Jung Woo-young and Lee Yeon-ji, both born in 1999, transitioned from childhood friends to romantic partners, nurturing their love over the years.

Jung Woo-young previously shared the news of their engagement on his social media, stating, "I have met the person I love and promised to spend my life with her. I sincerely thank everyone who has blessed us and ask for your warm support in the future. We will live happily together."

Lee Yeon-ji also expressed her joy, saying, "I am marrying the person I want to love forever. Around this time last year, I received a proposal from Woo-young, whose heart was pounding with excitement. Now, a year later, we are about to have our wedding ceremony." She added, "I am truly grateful to everyone who has blessed us."
