IU Celebrates Birthday with Generous Gifts for Fans and Upcoming Album Release

K-pop star and actress IU has prepared a generous gift for her fans in celebration of her birthday.

On October 14, her agency, EDAM Entertainment, announced on their official social media that they will be hosting the 'IU HBD CAFE' event to celebrate IU's birthday. They also mentioned that small gifts have been prepared for visiting UAENA (the name of her fan club).

The event will take place from October 15 to 18 at three designated cafes in Seoul's Mapo, Yongsan, and Seongdong districts. It is open to members of UAENA 8th generation, offering drinks like Americano, iced tea, and juice, along with photo cards and bookmarks on a first-come, first-served basis. The daily distribution is set at 400 drinks in Mapo, 500 in Yongsan, and 300 in Seongdong, totaling 4,800 drinks.

In addition to the official birthday cafe hosted by her agency, IU is also supporting fan-organized birthday cafes. On her birthday, October 16, 35 cafes nationwide will offer 100 free drinks each on a first-come, first-served basis, and these cafes are open to non-fan club members as well. This event will take place not only in Seoul but also in Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, Changwon, Jeonju, and Jeju, among other locations. Through this initiative, IU will distribute a total of 8,300 drinks to her fans.

Meanwhile, IU is set to release her third remake album, 'Kkot-Galpi Set,' on October 27. This marks her comeback after approximately 15 months since her mini-album 'The Winning' was released in February last year.
