Kim Tae-ri Wins Best Actress at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards

On May 5th, during the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony, Kim Tae-ri received the Best Actress award in the television category for her role in the tvN drama 'Jeong Nyeon.' The Baeksang Arts Awards, established in 1965, aim to promote and encourage the development of Korean popular culture and arts.
Kim Tae-ri captivated both audiences and critics with her portrayal of a new iconic character in last year's tvN drama 'Jeong Nyeon.' In the series, she played 'Yoon Jeong Nyeon,' a genius in traditional Korean opera, delivering a flawless performance that resonated with viewers of all generations. Her role in 'Jeong Nyeon' also brought renewed attention to the female Korean opera genre, making a significant cultural impact.

This marks Kim Tae-ri's second Best Actress win at the Baeksang Arts Awards, following her previous win for the tvN drama 'Twenty-Five Twenty-One' at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards three years ago.
Meanwhile, Kim Tae-ri is set to meet global audiences with the Netflix animated film 'Lost in the Stars,' Korea's first animated feature, premiering on May 30th.
