Virtual Idol Group PLAVE Breaks Streaming Records with New Mini Album 'Caligo Pt.1'

Released on the 3rd, Playve's third mini album 'Caligo Pt.1' reached an impressive 11,329,400 streams on the domestic music platform Melon within just 24 hours of its release. This achievement surpasses the previous record of 9.72 million streams, making it the highest-streamed album on Melon to date.
This milestone follows the success of their second mini album 'ASTERUM: 134-1', which garnered 5 million streams within 24 hours, marking another significant achievement for the group.
Additionally, Playve has become the fastest artist to enter Melon's 'Billions Club', having surpassed 1 billion cumulative streams across all released tracks. They are now the only artist to hold both the fastest entry into the Billions Club and the highest-streamed Millions album record simultaneously.
The album's title track 'Dash' is the first song released in 2025 to top the TOP100 chart, with other tracks like 'RIZZ', 'Chroma Drift', '12:32 (A to T)', and 'Island' also ranking high on the charts. The music video for 'Dash', released alongside the album, has been a hot topic due to its blockbuster scale, reaching the number one spot on YouTube's trending videos as of 2 PM on the 4th.
'Caligo Pt.1' marks Playve's return with new music after five months since their digital single 'Pump Up The Volume!'. This album represents a new chapter, further expanding the unique universe introduced in the 'ASTERUM Trilogy'. It features five tracks across various genres including rock, hip-hop, R&B, ballad, and city pop, showcasing the group's involvement in composing, writing, choreography, and producing, solidifying their status as a self-produced idol group.
