Chinese Actress Fan Bingbing Pays Tribute to Late Actress Xu Xiyuan

On November 4th, Fan Bingbing took to her Instagram account to express her condolences, stating, "A beautiful girl who always brightened the world with kindness! I will forever remember the innocent smile in your eyes when we first met. May you become a happy fairy in heaven, where there is no worry, only peace."
The photo shared shows Xu Xiyuan with a radiant smile, taken during her attendance at the 2004 Jackie Chan Cup Charity Touring Car Race. Fan Bingbing and Xu Xiyuan had previously worked together in the 2010 film 'Future X-Cops.'
On November 3rd, Taiwanese media reported that Xu Xiyuan passed away on November 2nd due to complications from the flu at the age of 48. According to reports, Xu Xiyuan and her family had traveled to Japan on October 29th. She was already in poor health due to a cold and asthma before the trip, and her condition worsened upon arrival in Japan, leading to her being rushed to the emergency room on November 1st. After being transferred between four hospitals, she passed away on the morning of November 2nd.
On November 3rd, Xu Xiyuan's sister, Xu Xijie, released a statement saying, "During the New Year, our family traveled to Japan, but my beloved sister Xu Xiyuan unfortunately left us due to pneumonia caused by the flu. I am grateful to have been her sister in this life, to care for each other and be together. I will forever be thankful and miss her."
Meanwhile, Xu Xiyuan's current husband, Koo Jun-yup, formerly of the group Clon, is set to return to Taiwan from Japan with Xu Xijie and the late actress's remains on November 6th. Xu Xiyuan's mother arrived in Taiwan on November 4th to prepare for her daughter's funeral arrangements.
