KATSEYE's Meteoric Rise: Dominating US Music Charts and Spotify
Global girl group KATSEYE, formed by HYBE and Geffen Records, is experiencing a meteoric rise on major US music charts.

According to the latest Billboard charts released on October 5th, KATSEYE's (Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, Yoonchae) debut EP 'SIS (Soft Is Strong)' has seen one of its double title tracks, 'Touch,' soar 45 spots to land at 108th on the 'Global 200.' The track also climbed 50 spots to rank 75th on the 'Global (Excl. US)' chart.

Unlike the 'Hot 100,' which combines radio airplay and album sales, the 'Global 200' and 'Global (Excl. US)' charts rank the most popular songs based on streaming and digital sales data collected from over 200 regions worldwide. These charts are considered key indicators of global popularity, reflecting the latest trends in the music industry.

The album's popularity is equally impressive. 'SIS (Soft Is Strong)' secured the 33rd spot on the 'Top Current Album Sales' chart and 35th on the 'Top Album Sales' chart. KATSEYE also ranked 8th on the 'Emerging Artist' chart, which focuses on new artists. Remarkably, the group has maintained its presence on all three charts for six consecutive weeks.

KATSEYE is also performing well on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. 'Touch' entered the 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart (for the period of September 20-26) at 100th, climbing 28 spots from the previous week. The song initially debuted at 155th last month and has been steadily rising. It also ranked 88th on the 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart as of September 30th.

KATSEYE was formed through HYBE and Geffen Records' survival audition project 'The Debut: Dream Academy.' The group recently concluded a successful promotional tour across Asia, including stops in South Korea, the Philippines, and Japan.
