Kim Byung-man Returns to Comedy Stage After 14 Years

Comedian Kim Byung-man is set to return to the comedy stage after 14 years. His historic moment will be shared with fellow comedians.

According to TenAsia's coverage on the 30th, Kim Byung-man is expected to perform at the opening ceremony of the Cheongdo World Comedy Festival, which will be held in Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, on the 11th of next month. The opening act is titled 'Uninvited Guest' by Kim Byung-man. This marks his first comedy stage performance in 14 years. He is expected to entertain the audience with his witty banter for an hour.

Joining Kim Byung-man in his grand comeback are Shin Yoon-seung and Jo Soo-yeon, who have recently gained popularity with 'How About Defconn'. 'How About Defconn' is a skit about a man and a woman meeting on a blind date. The two, who have sparked marriage rumors for next May, are expected to support their senior from KBS's 'Gag Concert', Kim Byung-man.

In addition to Shin Yoon-seung and Jo Soo-yeon, other KBS juniors will join Kim Byung-man. Song Young-gil from the 25th class and Jung Seung-hwan from the 26th class will appear as 'Uninvited Guests'.

Meanwhile, Kim Byung-man is also set to premiere a new TV Chosun variety show 'Survival King' on the 7th of next month, along with his return to the comedy stage. 'Survival King' is a program where elite members team up to determine the ultimate survivor in the wilderness. This show is particularly noteworthy as it marks Kim Byung-man's new venture with TV Chosun after his success with SBS's 'Law of the Jungle'. All eyes are on whether Kim Byung-man can once again prove his unrivaled status in wilderness variety shows.
