IU Delivers Spectacular Performance with Drone Show and Fireworks at 2024 World Tour Encore
Singer IU showcased a breathtaking performance featuring a drone show and fireworks.
On the evening of the 22nd, IU held the '2024 IU HEREH WORLD TOUR CONCERT ENCORE: THE WINNING' at Seoul World Cup Stadium.
During her 'Last Fantasy' stage, drones ascended into the sky, creating various patterns. The drones formed images of a clock, a setting sun over the sea, the Earth, the official fan club symbol UAENA, and dandelion seeds and flowers, evoking deep emotions.
The performance symbolized IU's return from her world tour, sharing a radiant dream with UAENA worldwide, enjoying the final encore stage, and moving forward to new stories. IU commented on the performance, "The show is slightly different from yesterday. Originally, fireworks were not supposed to go off at this timing. We received a notice just before yesterday's show that due to the weather and safety concerns, we couldn't do drones, fireworks, and flying effects all at once. Safety is paramount, so we had no choice."
Starting on March 2nd at KSPO DOME in Seoul's Songpa District, IU's world tour spanned 18 cities across continents. The encore concerts on September 21st and 22nd marked the conclusion of her tour, drawing approximately 100,000 attendees over the two days. To enhance the fan experience, IU provided individual cushions and binoculars to all attendees.
