Comedian Mija Clarifies Misunderstanding About Family Plans
On October 25, Mija took to her Instagram story to address the speculation, posting several screenshots with the caption, "I just answered that I'm older because so many people asked."
The screenshots revealed that two days prior, a follower had asked if she was planning for children, to which she replied, "Together, my husband and I are well over 90 years old." This response was misinterpreted as a decision to forgo having children, leading to rumors of a 'DINK' (Dual Income, No Kids) lifestyle.
Mija clarified, "I never specifically declared a DINK lifestyle," adding, "Having a child would be great, but I'm very happy as things are now."
Born in 1984, Mija is 41 years old and the daughter of actors Jang Kwang and Jeon Sung-ae. She married comedian Kim Tae-hyun, who is six years her senior, in April 2022. Mija actively engages with her fans through her personal YouTube channel and Instagram.
