Ailee and Husband Choi Si-hoon Share IVF Journey and Positive Egg Retrieval Results

Singer Ailee has shared the results of her egg retrieval and fertilization process during her IVF journey.

On the 25th, the YouTube channel 'Ailee's Marriage Diary' posted a video titled '[IVF Diary] DAY 2/12 Friends Dreamed of Our Baby! We Heard the Egg Retrieval Results'.

In the video, Ailee's husband, actor Choi Si-hoon, revealed that friends had shared dreams about their future child. Choi mentioned, "Recently, we've been receiving messages from friends saying they had dreams about our baby. Both Ailee and I are touched by their interest and it gives us great strength."

Later, Ailee and Choi visited the hospital to check the egg retrieval results. Choi mentioned receiving positive news from the hospital.

The attending doctor explained, "We retrieved 15 eggs, all of which were fertilized. Twelve were successfully implanted, and seven of the five-day embryos are of the highest grade."

Choi expressed relief at the positive outcome, having been worried they might need to start the process over. On their way home, he looked up potential birth dates and the baby's inherent energy, showing his excitement.

Choi also remarked, "Regardless of the process and outcome, let's not forget that every moment is a part of our life. I hope we can look back and smile at these days." He also shared a supportive message for his wife, Ailee.

Meanwhile, Ailee married Choi Si-hoon last year, and the couple is currently undergoing IVF treatment to start a family.
