Kim Ho-jung is set to meet filmmakers from around the world.

Actress Kim Ho-jung's film 'The Mother and the Bear' has been selected for the 49th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Kim Ho-jung will also attend the festival to grace the event with her presence.

According to TIFF, Kim Ho-jung's film will be featured in the 2024 non-competitive Centrepiece programme, which includes 43 films from 41 countries. Among the highly anticipated works from influential directors and critically acclaimed films from global festivals, 'The Mother and the Bear' will be one of the 18 world premieres, captivating audiences worldwide. Kim Ho-jung stars as Sarah, the film's protagonist, and is expected to leave a lasting impression on international viewers.

Earlier this year, Kim Ho-jung captivated audiences with her role as Jang Geum-seok in Disney+'s 'Royal Loader,' showcasing her elegant and sophisticated style. Her commanding presence and profound acting skills brought stability to the series. Kim Ho-jung has consistently won the hearts of global audiences through various streaming platforms.

Kim Ho-jung won the Bronze Leopard Award for Best Actress at the 54th Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland in 2001 for her role in 'Nabi.' Her 2020 film 'Young Adult Matters' received acclaim at the Aichi International Women's Film Festival in Japan, the Prague International Film Festival in the Czech Republic, the Hong Kong International Film Festival, and the London East Asia Film Festival. With her proven acting prowess and increasing depth, Kim Ho-jung's participation in this year's Toronto International Film Festival is already generating significant interest.

With over 30 years of acting experience, Kim Ho-jung made her debut in the 1999 film 'Chimhyang.' She has since garnered attention for her powerful performances in numerous films and dramas, including 'Heard It Through the Grapevine,' 'Arthdal Chronicles,' and 'Queenmaker,' where she showcased her unique charm and versatility.
