Actress Oh Yoon-ah Shares Her Thoughts on Joining Reality Dating Show
Actress Oh Yoon-ah shared her thoughts on participating in a reality dating show.
On the afternoon of the 20th, TV Chosun's new variety show 'Public Dating - The Private Lives of Actresses' held an online production presentation. The event was attended by Ye Ji-won, Oh Yoon-ah, Lee Soo-kyung, CP Lee Seung-hoon, and PD Kim Joon.
'The Private Lives of Actresses' follows the journey of 20-year-old friends Ye Ji-won, Oh Yoon-ah, and Lee Soo-kyung as they search for fateful love. The show will feature their dates with ideal men in nature, away from the city, as they seek true love not as actresses but as women.
43-year-old single mom Oh Yoon-ah said, "The reason I first decided to join was because I was excited to meet my close friends Ye Ji-won and Soo-kyung after a long time. We had never spent a week together on a trip, so I wanted to go with them," she explained. "I knew both of them were easygoing and had a clumsy charm, so I thought we could go without any trouble," she added.
She continued, "I'm not at an age where I fall in love at first sight. It takes time to meet someone. I don't have the opportunity to meet ordinary men privately. I was curious about what they think and approached it with a fun mindset," she added.
Regarding the burden of reality TV, she said, "I have been doing reality TV with my son on 'Pyeonstorang' for three years, so I didn't feel burdened. But when men came, it was more burdensome and embarrassing than I thought. So, I am worried. I think parts of me that I didn't know might have come out," she said.
'Public Dating - The Private Lives of Actresses' will premiere at 10 PM on the 20th.
