Korean Actress Ko So-young Reveals the Story Behind Her Wedding Dress Choice

Korean actress Ko So-young recently shared the reason behind her choice of a glamorous wedding dress, revealing it was due to her pregnancy before marriage.

On the YouTube channel 'Just Ko So-young,' a video titled 'Ko So-young's Packing Routine for a Summer Family Vacation (feat. Yoon Seol)' was uploaded on the 11th.

In the video, Ko So-young mentioned, "This time, we're heading to Hawaii," and added, "I'm planning to take a few pretty sundresses for the vacation. They're not red carpet dresses, just comfortable ones I've kept for a long time. They don't fit me now, but I'm keeping them for Yoon Seol."

She humorously noted, "You have to dress comfortably at the beach. Wearing glamorous clothes to the beach is a lie; it's just for Instagram." Ko So-young also shared, "I have a big family with two dogs, so I can't always be as elegant as I'd like."

Additionally, she said, "I tried taking luxury bags to Hawaii, but they don't suit the setting. A handbag or an eco-bag is better. It's best to wear something that allows you to head to the beach anytime." Ko So-young explained, "Some people find it odd when I wear very short or shoulder-baring clothes. I wear those daring outfits abroad, where no one knows my age."

She also introduced her wedding dress, saying, "Designer Oscar de la Renta personally made it for me. I originally wanted a simple mermaid dress, but I was pregnant at the time. I was five months along, and although it wasn't noticeable, I felt self-conscious. To divert attention, I chose a glamorous dress. I'm keeping it for Yoon Seol to wear at her wedding someday."
