Jennie's 'choreography reminiscent of sexual activity' received harsh criticism... ‘The Idol’ nominated for Emmy Award

'The Idol' was recently nominated for an award in the 'Outstanding Choreography For Scripted Programming 2024' category announced by the Emmy Awards on its official website.

Regarding the program, the British media Telegraph pointed out that it was "clearly the worst TV show of the year," and the British media Guardian pointed out that it was "one of the worst programs ever made."
Meanwhile, the Guardian strongly criticized the show, saying it was "painfully boring" and "HBO spent millions of dollars to show women joyfully struggling, being sexualized, and finding peace in admitting how shitty they are."
HBO, the broadcasting channel for 'The Idol', which received harsh criticism from the public and leading media, gave up on producing Season 2 of 'The Idol'.
Jenny played the role of Diane, a friend and backup dancer of the main character Jocelyn (Lily Rose Depp) in this drama. In a video released by HBO after the first episode of 'The Idol', Jenny expressed her feelings about debuting as an actress, saying, "I didn't give much time to learn the choreography used in filming. But I was very grateful because it was something I had always done." .
The 76th Emmy Awards will be held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, USA at 5pm (local time) on September 15th.
