Singer Kim Seong-gyu successfully completed the Busan performance of the musical ‘Dear Evan Hansen’.

Kim Seong-gyu went on stage as the main character Evan Hansen in the musical 'Dear Evan Hansen' held at Dream Theater in Busan on the 5th and 6th and met the audience.

'Dear Evan Hansen' contains a story about loneliness that everyone has experienced at least once in society and groups such as home, school, and work. Evan Hanson, a timid boy suffering from anxiety disorder, reflects our contemporary lives and delivers the message that we are never alone. In addition, even though characters with different wounds are left in deep darkness, someone finds and comforts those left in the dark, making us realize the importance of communication and solidarity.

Following the Seoul performance held at the Chungmu Arts Center Grand Theater from March to June, Kim Seong-gyu also performed on stage in Busan. He once again proved the energy of a musical actor that you can 'trust and see' by portraying Evan, a timid loner who writes a letter to himself every day and dreams of a wonderful day where he can act like himself, with realistic acting.

In the play, Evan loses a letter he wrote to himself from Connor, whom he meets by chance one day. A few days later, he learns of his sudden death and falls into great conflict. Kim Seong-gyu drew a positive response from the audience by delicately expressing Evan's anxiety disorder, loneliness deep in his heart, and various psychological changes.

Kim Sunggyu dominated the stage by demonstrating not only the explosive singing ability of a 'luxury vocalist', but also the dance skills of the leader of 'K-pop legend' Infinite, even performing choreography. The sight of Evan, unable to overcome his guilt at the end of the play, finally pouring out a heartbreaking confession and scream, touched the hearts of the viewers and gave them deep emotion and lingering emotions.

Kim Seong-gyu, who successfully completed the Busan performance of 'Dear Evan Hansen', said through his agency Double HTN, "I had a very happy time and felt and learned a lot through 'Dear Evan Hansen'. I would like to thank everyone who loved and supported me. “I want to do it, and I hope everyone is happy,” he said.

Kim Sunggyu will hold his first full-member fan meeting in 7 years, 'Infinite Rally Ⅳ', at Jamsil Indoor Stadium on the 13th and 14th as part of Infinite.
