NCT's Doyoung Fulfills Promise with Generous Donation to Support Youth

NCT's Doyoung has kept his promise to donate 100 million won.

The donation platform 'Direct Donation' announced on the 11th that Doyoung has donated 100 million won to support young adults preparing for independence and children in need. This marks his second donation through Direct Donation, following his birthday donation last February.

In an interview last month for the comeback of his second album 'Soar,' Doyoung promised to donate if he achieved first place on a music show. He fulfilled this promise after winning three music show awards with the title track 'Memory.'

Doyoung expressed, "Thanks to the love from Czennies (the fandom name), I received the precious gift of first place and was able to fulfill my donation pledge. I hope my contribution can be of some help to children, teenagers, and young adults preparing for a new start. Just like the message of my new album, I encourage them to find their own 'dreaming power' and pursue it freely."

Direct Donation plans to use the funds to provide kits with essential items for a healthy summer to children and teenagers in welfare facilities and young adults preparing for independence. These kits will include food, supplements, and meal kits for those living in orphanages, group homes, and those who have recently left such facilities.

A representative from Direct Donation stated, "We are grateful for Doyoung's continued partnership with Direct Donation following his previous birthday donation. We will ensure that his warm support reaches young adults preparing for independence and children in need."
