According to Ten Asia's coverage on the 27th, Yoon Ji-sung is interested in acting and is in contact with an acting company to become an actor. An official told Ten Asia, "Yoon Ji-sung has decided to pursue a future career as an actor rather than as an idol or singer," and added, "I understand that he has contacted two acting companies to become an actor."
This official added, "We have only contacted the actor's company, but as far as we know, no decision has been made regarding an exclusive contract yet. We will leave the possibility open and carefully decide our future steps."
This morning, DG Entertainment announced the termination of Yoon Ji-sung's contract. DG Entertainment is
“After sufficient discussion with Yoon Ji-sung about future activities, we agreed to respect each other’s opinions and terminate our exclusive contract as of the 26th,” he said. He added, "We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Ji-Sung Yoon for accompanying us as our artist. We will continue to support Ji-Sung Yoon's future as he continues to make remarkable progress in various fields."
Ji-Sung Yoon entered the free agent market about two years and two months after signing an exclusive contract with DG Entertainment, a new comprehensive entertainment company, in April 2022.
Ji-Sung Yoon, who participated as a trainee under MMO Entertainment in Mnet's 'Produce 101 Season 2', which aired in 2017, later debuted as a member of the group Wanna One and played an active role as leader and sub-vocalist.
