Lee Hyun-wook, wearing stockings and a skirt, “acting as a woman, working carefully”

Actor Lee Hyun-wook shared his thoughts on acting as a woman.

On the 23rd, a press preview and press conference for 'The Designer' was held at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Songpa-gu, Seoul. Directors Kang Dong-won, Lee Moo-saeng, Lee Mi-sook, Lee Hyun-wook, Jeong Eun-chae, Tang Jun-sang, and Lee Yo-seop attended.

'The Designer' is a movie about the story of Yeong-il, a designer who manipulates a commissioned murder into an accidental death and gets caught up in an unexpected incident.

Lee Hyun-wook played the role of Wolcheon, a camouflage genius. Lee Hyun-wook, who attracted attention by cross-dressing in the movie, said, "I felt lonely on set due to the mischievous gazes of my colleagues."

He went on to explain, "I prepared while paying attention to whether the viewers would feel a sense of heterogeneity. I consulted a lot with the director and worked carefully to avoid making fun of playing a different gender."

‘The Designer’ will be released on May 29th.
