Jinyoung becomes a free agent… Breaking up with BB Entertainment after 3 years

Singer-turned-actor Jinyoung became a free agent.

As a result of Ten Asia's coverage on the 12th, Jinyoung recently decided not to renew his contract with BB Entertainment after his exclusive contract ended. Jinyoung signed an exclusive contract with BB Entertainment in April 2021.

Jinyoung is an actor who has been consistently loved by the public, starting with the drama 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds' and appearing in various movies and dramas such as 'The Guy Inside Me', 'Because It's My First Love', and 'Police Lesson'. In addition, he has proven his talent as a music producer and singer by releasing songs such as 'One Step, Two Steps', 'When the Cherry Blossoms Fall', 'In the Same Place', and 'You Said You Don't Know Love'.

He also received favorable reviews for his outstanding acting skills through the Netflix series 'Sweet Home Season 2'. In 'Sweet Home', which released Season 2 after three years, Jinyoung played the role of Chanyoung, a member of the Crow Unit, a unit dedicated to dealing with monsters.

Recently, he produced the debut song of Japanese K-pop girl group Unicode. Unicode is a five-member group comprised entirely of Japanese members. Last year, he was selected through Japan's largest online audition, 'Project K'.
