Lee Byung-hun's LA home was robbed... Agency, “There was a petty theft, but there was no significant damage.”

Amid the incident where a robber broke into the Los Angeles mansion owned by actor Lee Byung-hun, his agency released a statement.

On the 29th, Lee Byung-hun's agency, BH Entertainment, stated, "It is true that there was a thief at Lee Byung-hun's home in the U.S." and "It is confirmed that there was no significant damage."

In relation to this, multiple media outlets, including the American entertainment media TMZ, reported on the 29th (local time), "The LA home of actor Lee Byung-hun of the Netflix series 'Squid Game' was robbed," and "they broke in through the sliding glass door and robbed the house." Lee Byung-hun was absent at the time.

Foreign media added, “It is not yet known what was stolen or how much it is worth,” adding, “Confirmation is needed from the police and Lee Byung-hun.”

Local police speculated that this incident was one of a series of robberies targeting wealthy neighborhoods around Los Angeles. Previously, actress Lena Wade, who lives nearby, was also robbed and jewelry worth $200,000, worth about 2674 billion won in Korean Won, was stolen.

Lee Byung-hun's Los Angeles home was reportedly worth $2 million (about 2.6 billion won) at the time of purchase. Lee Byung-hun is known to have purchased the house so that he and his family can stay comfortably while filming begins in Hollywood, as it takes at least 3 to 4 months and as long as 6 months.

Meanwhile, Lee Byung-hun gave birth to a daughter on December 21 last year. The couple, who married his wife, actress Lee Min-jung, in 2013 and welcomed their son Jun-woo in 2015, started a family of four after becoming pregnant with their second child after 10 years of marriage.
