TVXQ “20th anniversary of debut, now we have years to repay”
TVXQ was invited as the first guest of the new year on SBS' 'Nightline', which aired at 0:10 on the 3rd, and had a variety of conversations with announcer Kim Seok-jae, including feelings on celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut, introduction of their 9th full-length album '20&2', and future goals. .
First, TVXQ started the interview with a cheerful New Year greeting, saying, “As this is the Year of the Blue Dragon, I hope that it will be filled with only good and wonderful things like the blue dragon ascending to the sky.” TVXQ said about the driving force that enabled them to celebrate their 20th anniversary, “It was because of the help of many people.” It was possible. “We were able to come this far because our fans silently supported and watched us,” he said, adding, “I think now is the time to think about how we can repay this love.” He expressed his extraordinary love for his fans.
TVXQ also said about this new album ‘20&2’, “We wanted to look back on TVXQ’s 20-year journey and show the way forward together. “I hope this album becomes a gift to fans,” he said.
Regarding each other as members of TVXQ for the past 20 years, “The love for the fans and passion for the stage have protected and guided our two members. There are times when it's hard and tiring on stage, but every time we lead each other, we gain the will to work harder. “I think we were able to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our debut because we were there for each other,” he said, adding to the warmth.
When asked what kind of artist they would like to remain in the future, TVXQ responded, “I think we need to be healthier and work harder because some people see us as their dream. “I will continue to work hard and do my best,” and “I will slowly become an artist who can create more good memories in the future,” he said, drawing attention by conveying his unique aspirations.
TVXQ's 9th full-length album '20&2' contains a total of 10 songs of various genres, including the title song 'Rebel'.
