Kim Tae-hee Opens Up About Her Daughters and Upcoming Amazon Series 'Butterfly'

Renowned actress Kim Tae-hee recently shared insights into her family life and career developments, including her two daughters' appearances.

On the 18th, the YouTube channel 'You Quiz on the Tube' released a teaser for 'You Quiz on the Block' titled 'Kim Tae-hee, Now a Hollywood Actress, Shares Her Love Story with Rain and Her Life as a Mom.'

During the episode, host Yoo Jae-suk introduced Kim Tae-hee by saying, "Looking at her, it seems like life isn't fair." Kim Tae-hee updated fans by revealing, "The American drama I filmed last year is set to be released soon."

Regarding her role in the Amazon Prime Video series 'Butterfly,' Kim Tae-hee shared, "The drama's writer approached me first. The writer's mother had shown her the drama 'Stairway to Heaven,' introducing me as 'a great actress from Seoul National University,' which led to my casting."

Family matters were also discussed. Kim Tae-hee described her daughters, whom she shares with husband Rain, saying, "Our first daughter resembles me from the top and my husband from the bottom, while our second daughter is the opposite." She humorously referred to this as 'a mix of joy and sorrow.'

When asked what her daughters often say to her, Kim Tae-hee replied, "They keep calling me." Co-host Jo Se-ho joked, "They must be proud to show off their beautiful mom to their friends."

Kim Tae-hee also shared her love story with Rain. When asked about the moment she decided to marry him, she said, "We seem to remember it differently. He gave me a small, non-burdensome gift. When I opened it during a tough time, it made me laugh, and that's when I texted him for the first time."

She also expressed emotional reflections, saying, "I feel like I wasn't good to my mom when I was emotionally struggling," shedding tears and leaving viewers curious.
