KBS 1TV's 'National Singing Contest' is the origin of the public participation audition program that has been running for 43 years every Sunday and is the best entertainment program in Korea, maintaining its status as the program by ranking first in viewership ratings in its time slot every week.
'National Singing Contest', which will be broadcast on the 31st, will be featured as the '2023 Year-End Finals Special' for 135 minutes. A total of 19 teams selected through a rigorous preliminary round from among the 2023 award winners from all over the country and Australia will compete in the finals. On this day, when Jeong Dong-won expressed his affection by saying, “I am the son of the National Singing Contest,” Lee Chan-won provoked him by asking, “Did you receive an award at the year-end finals?” It is said that in response to Dong-won Jeong's reply that he did not receive the award, Chan-won Lee responded by saying, "I won the popularity award," causing everyone to bow down.
