After leaving for Bangkok, she took some time to catch her breath as she had been busy receiving a lot of attention and love over the past year. This was her first trip to Bangkok, and she looked excited throughout the trip as she traveled around the city.

In this pictorial, which took place against the backdrop of a festival held in Bangkok, Joo Hyun-young broke away from her trademark short hair and transformed into long straight hair, completing a unique look. 'SNL' is a work that has special meaning to Joo Hyun-young.

“To me, ‘SNL’ seems to be a place where marbles are created that roll around like crazy in the center of one’s heart. The moment I stand on stage in front of the audience is very enjoyable. I've liked comedy since I was young, and discovering small moments of fun in everyday life and expressing them is another part of my enjoyment. That’s why ‘SNL’ is a special place for me because it is a space where I can freely imagine and express myself with my respected seniors.”

What she considers important when acting is understanding.

“I try not to speak or act without being convinced. Of course, there are many other things to pay attention to, but I realized that robot-like words and actions that are expressed without self-understanding cannot ultimately be conveyed to the public.”

These days, Hyunyoung Joo is looking for a way to establish her own center.

“No human being can be perfect. I often think about how I can firmly establish my own center in an unstable life while constantly wanting recognition and self-satisfaction. “I’m looking for a standard that will convince me and make me move.”
