Ravi's '2 Days & 1 Night' VOD deleted due to 'military service corruption'
On the 14th, KBS2's entertainment program '2 Days & 1 Night' stopped replay service for the broadcast in which Ravi appeared on its official website.
OTT platform Wave also suspended its replay service due to “cast issues.” It will be broadcast for approximately 3 years from December 8, 2019 to May 1, 2022.
On the 11th, the first trial was held at the Seoul Southern District Court for eight people, including Ravi and Nafla, who were indicted on charges of violating the Military Service Act. The prosecution sought two years in prison for Ravi and two years and six months in prison for Nafla.
Ravi attempted to obtain a level 5 exemption by paying tens of millions of won to a broker and receiving advice from a broker to postpone his epilepsy. During this process, he postponed fainting and made a false report to 119.
After the trial ended, Ravi personally posted an apology. He said, “I sincerely apologize to the epilepsy patients and their families who were hurt by me rationalizing myself and making the wrong choice, as well as to all military service holders who are faithfully performing their service at this very moment.”
