IU, another 100 million won gift, a warm hand on Children's Day

Singer and actress IU did another good deed to celebrate Children's Day.

On the 5th, a photo was posted on IU's official SNS with the message, "On a rainy day like today, with the intention of becoming a strong umbrella for tender hearts."

He added, “I feel like a warm spring day even on rainy days because I’m with Uaena, who is like the sunshine of May♥.”

The released photo shows a confirmation of sponsorship from the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation. The name of the sponsor was IUANA, a combination of IU and fanclub UANA. IUANA donated 100 million won to the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation. In particular, IU has consistently taken the lead in good deeds under the name IU-Ana.

Previously, it was reported that IU held a pizza party on the 4th for students at Milal School, a special school for the developmentally disabled. He prepared plenty of pizza, drinks, and rice cakes for both students and teachers, and it is said that IU's mother prepared the rice cakes together.

IU is currently meeting audiences with the movie 'Dream' (directed by Lee Byung-hun). 'Dream' is the story of Hong Dae (played by Park Seo-joon), a clueless former soccer player, and So-min (played by IU), a passionless producer, who challenge an impossible dream with a ragtag group of homeless national team players.
