Jo Hyun-young failed to change her name to ‘Jo Gyu-i’ due to PD

On the 17th, Cho Hyun-young uploaded a video titled “The reason she went to court” on her YouTube channel.
On this day, Jo Hyun-young announced that she would change her name to Jo Gyu-i, saying, "I will finally apply for a name change." He said, "If I had been Jo Gyu-i when I was young, I would have been teased a lot, but now there is no one who can make fun of me. I will change my name, but my stage name will remain Jo Hyun-young. There is no need to feel too sorry."
Also, “In the past, when you searched for Jo Hyun-young, only my information came up. But now someone more famous has appeared. There is a member of the National Assembly from Incheon. “Even if you search for my name and try to read the news, there are a lot more articles related to him,” he complained.
He continued, "And the bigger reason is that Joo Hyun-young is very popular. When Joo Hyun-young first came out, I felt an inner intimacy with her because she had a similar name to me. I said I hoped it would do well, but since it did so well, people were so confused and wondered, 'Is this right?' “It cost a little bit. Jo Kyu-i isn’t there at all,” he confessed.
Jo Hyun-young, a resident of Yongsan, was supposed to go to the Western Regional Family Court, but due to the PD's mistake, she ended up going to the Gangnam Family Court. As a result, the application for name change failed due to address issues. Cho Hyun-young ultimately postponed the application for name change to another opportunity.
