On the 5th, the YouTube variety show 'Deokbap House,' hosted by TVXQ's Changmin, released an episode titled 'SM's Golden Maknae Visits Like a Children's Day Gift [Deokbap House 2nd Branch EP.1 Hwang Jae-gyun].' In this episode, Changmin engaged in a conversation with guest Hwang Jae-gyun while making dumplings.
While making dumplings, Changmin momentarily lost focus and asked Hwang, "Do you invest in stocks?" with a concerned expression before bursting into laughter. Hwang replied, "Be quiet. I haven't checked them in a while. We were making dumplings happily, why bring that up?" sharing a wry smile.
The producer asked Hwang to reveal his lowest-performing stock percentage. Hwang confessed, "I have a stock that's down 30%." When Changmin commented, "Naming the stock might be a bit much," Hwang agreed, adding, "It's a foreign stock," which elicited laughter. Sensing the awkwardness, the two made heart poses and cheered "Go Korea!" causing more laughter. Hwang added humor by saying, "I love my country, so I invested in it."
After retiring from baseball, Hwang Jae-gyun is now pursuing a career in broadcasting. He began his baseball career in 2006 with the Hyundai Unicorns and played for teams like the Heroes, Lotte Giants, and San Francisco Giants.
