The first episode, which aired on the 3rd, featured actors Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-joon, and Choi Woo-shik embarking on an unplanned journey on the tvN variety show 'Youth Over Flowers: Limited Edition'.
The episode began with a fake live broadcast celebrating writer Kim Dae-joo's 20th anniversary, tricking the trio. Unaware of the setup, they attended a pre-meeting and were suddenly thrust into a live broadcast, followed by an impromptu travel mission. The added conditions of limited phone use and a budget of 100,000 won per person heightened the tension and curiosity.
From the start, Choi Woo-shik's presence was unmistakable. He played the role of the idea bank, suggesting, "Let's travel far on the first day and come back," and "Let's decide our travel destination based on what we want for dinner." His quick thinking, honed over seven years in variety shows, was evident as he spun around like an elephant trunk to decide the travel destination, ultimately choosing the culinary city of Daegu.
Unlike Jung Yu-mi and Park Seo-joon, who packed basic necessities just in case, Choi Woo-shik appeared unprepared, embracing the role of a bare traveler and providing laughs. His realistic side was shown as he grabbed snacks and fruits from the waiting room and quickly stuffed them in his mouth, while his obsession with "underwear is the most important" added another point of interest.
Choi Woo-shik's contributions continued during the journey. His bright greetings and reactions enlivened the atmosphere as they traveled via subway and KTX. He humorously mentioned the then-showing movie 'Number One', showcasing his witty banter. Additionally, he took on the role of a director with a camcorder, capturing the essence of the trip from his unique perspective.
Choi Woo-shik, known for his variety show skills from tvN's 'Summer Vacation', 'Youn's Stay', and 'Jinny's Kitchen', brought laughter with his comedic timing. His unexpected 'underwear obsession' drew attention, and viewers are eager to see what he will bring to the show in future episodes.
'Youth Over Flowers: Limited Edition' airs every Sunday at 7:30 PM.
