10CM's Kwon Jung-yeol to Appear on 'Hidden Singer 8' with Bold Confidence

Singer Kwon Jung-yeol of 10CM, who married Kim Yoon-ju in 2014, is set to appear on 'Hidden Singer 8'.

The sixth episode of JTBC's 'Hidden Singer 8', airing on the 5th, will feature singer-songwriter 10CM, known for his distinctive voice, as the sixth original singer. He aims for victory with the highest confidence among past original singers.

10CM, beloved for his unique vocal tone, shares that appearing on 'Hidden Singer' was on his bucket list, expressing his excitement for this season's stage. He reveals that he practiced singing by imitating artists like Kim Jong-seo and Yoon Do-hyun in the past, confidently stating that it will be challenging for others to mimic his voice, which blends various singing styles.

In response, MC Jun Hyun-moo mentions, "Many original singers who said that ended up as runners-up," referencing past participants like Younha, Davichi's Lee Hae-ri, and Kim Hyun-jung. However, 10CM surprises everyone by suggesting, "Maybe they didn't practice enough." Comedian Heo Kyung-hwan tries to intervene, saying, "It seems like you chose the wrong concept," but 10CM remains steadfast, expressing concern that it might not be entertaining enough.

Furthermore, he boldly claims that he will receive zero votes from rounds 1 to 3, where participants vote for non-original singers, and promises to create a 'Hidden Singer' tribute song if he doesn't achieve this. The anticipation builds to see if he can maintain his confidence.

As the showdown between the confident original singer 10CM and the talented impersonators unfolds, his favorite song 'Stalker', based on a true story, will be featured, drawing empathy from the audience.
