K-Pop singer Chae Yeon shared her secrets to maintaining her youthful appearance on the latest episode of KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs'.
The episode, aired on the 2nd, featured a special dedicated to composer Joo Young-hoon, with Chae Yeon, the 'sexy diva' of the 2000s, making a notable appearance.
As Chae Yeon took the stage, the cast couldn't help but express their admiration, noting, "She looks just like the Chae Yeon we remember." Comedian Kim Jun-hyun particularly praised her, saying, "She looks almost the same as when she dominated the stage with 'Two of Us' during her prime."
However, Chae Yeon humbly responded, "I'm quite different now. Back then, I could shake 60 times a minute, but now even 40 is tough," she joked, bringing laughter to the set.
Attention naturally turned to her 'ageless beauty'. Born in 1978, Chae Yeon, now 47, still maintains a youthful appearance. She candidly shared, "Honestly, I forget my age. I don't really know how old I am."
When asked about her youthful looks, Chae Yeon revealed, "I think it's because I'm still a bit immature. Living with a young mindset is probably the biggest reason."
She added, "I exercise, eat well, sleep well, and take care of myself in a very ordinary way. I also get appropriate treatments and do what others do," showcasing her candid charm. MC Kim Jun-hyun admired her dedication, saying, "Ultimately, being diligent is the key to maintaining oneself."
There was also a moment highlighting the generational gap. While some younger idols perfectly replicated Chae Yeon's signature 'shaking dance', others were unfamiliar with her hit song 'Two of Us'. Chae Yeon gracefully accepted this, saying, "It's okay. It happens."
