Netflix Unveils Main Poster and Trailer for 'WONDERFULS' Starring Cha Eun-woo

After settling a tax evasion charge of approximately 13 billion KRW, actor Cha Eun-woo is set to star in the Netflix series 'WONDERFULS', which has just released its main poster and trailer.

Set in the year 1999, 'WONDERFULS' is a supernatural comic adventure where a group of unlikely heroes with newfound superpowers battle villains threatening world peace. The series has unveiled its main poster and trailer, capturing the attention of fans.

The main poster features the chaotic city of Haeseong during the end-of-century doomsday craze, showcasing characters 'Eun-chae' (Park Eun-bin), 'Lee Un-jeong' (Cha Eun-woo), 'Son Kyung-hoon' (Choi Dae-hoon), and 'Kang Ro-bin' (Lim Sung-jae). Leading the charge is 'Eun-chae', alongside 'Un-jeong' with telekinesis, 'Kyung-hoon' whose hands are stuck to a car steering wheel, and 'Ro-bin' with part of a wall attached to his arm. Anticipation builds for the heroic efforts of 'TEAM WONDERFULS' to save Haeseong City.

In the midst of chaos with flying cars and collapsing buildings, 'Eun-chae' is seen using her teleportation ability, sparking curiosity about her powers. The tagline "Clumsy superheroes save the world" heightens interest in the dynamic chemistry of the Haeseong foursome.

The main trailer begins with 'Eun-chae' bleeding from the nose, asking, "Will I really die?" This intriguing start sets the stage in 1999 Haeseong City, where 'Eun-chae', the town's notorious troublemaker, gains teleportation powers amidst a collapsing greenhouse and time-travels to the Joseon Dynasty from a closet. Meanwhile, 'Ro-bin' accidentally throws a can through a wall, and 'Kyung-hoon' finds his feet glued to the ground, showcasing the trio's unexpected superpowers and their altered lives.

The trio stumbles upon 'Un-jeong' skillfully using telekinesis and start following him, calling him 'Master', much to his dismay. This unpredictable chemistry raises expectations for their interactions. Meanwhile, ominous hints of people disappearing like 20 years ago, along with the appearance of Dr. 'Ha Won-do' (Son Hyun-joo) and his followers, the 'Bunderkinder' trio, add tension. As curiosity grows about their powers and the threat they pose to Haeseong, 'Eun-chae's' words, "It's not that we're nothing, we just haven't done anything yet," intersect with the foursome's chaotic battle against threats, raising anticipation for how they will save the world.

'WONDERFULS' premieres exclusively on Netflix on May 15th.
