The upcoming film 'The Mysterious Snack Shop Jeoncheondang,' starring Rami Ran and Lee Re, is set to hit theaters this May.

'The Mysterious Snack Shop Jeoncheondang' is a magical drama that unfolds as customers with lucky coins visit the snack shop 'Jeoncheondang,' known for granting wishes. Following its theatrical release, a 12-episode series is planned for later this year.

The film is based on the bestselling novel of the same name, which has sold over 11 million copies worldwide and over 2 million copies in Korea. The original novel captivated readers with its enchanting and peculiar world of a wish-granting snack shop. The live-action film brings to life the intriguing story, the mystical Jeoncheondang, the peculiar Hwaangdang, and the fascinating magical snacks.

The released teaser poster captures attention with the image of Hongja (played by Rami Ran), with silver hair and a mysterious yet kind smile, welcoming customers. The presence of the shop's mascot, a butler cat that guides customers to Jeoncheondang, adds to the intrigue. The warm yet peculiar atmosphere of Jeoncheondang depicted in the background seems to faithfully recreate the unique ambiance of the original work, heightening anticipation for the film.
