Korean Actress Ko So-young Joins Ace Factory, Signaling a Return to Acting
Korean actress Ko So-young has found a new agency, reigniting her passion for acting.

According to a report by TenAsia on the 24th, Ko So-young has left Sublime, where she spent the last three years, and signed an exclusive contract with Ace Factory. The move comes as Ko has been eager to return to acting, and Ace Factory, known for both management and drama production, seems to be the perfect fit.

Ko So-young last appeared in the 2017 KBS drama 'Perfect Wife.' This was her first project in a decade since the 2007 SBS drama 'Blue Fish.' With only two projects in the past 20 years, her potential return to acting would mark a significant comeback, 10 years after 'Perfect Wife.'

Ace Factory is a comprehensive entertainment company involved in both management and content production. It has produced popular dramas such as tvN's 'Confession,' 'Stranger 2,' and JTBC's 'When the Weather is Fine.' The agency represents a roster of talented actors including Lee Jong-suk, Lee Jun-hyuk, Yoo Jae-myung, Yum Hye-ran, Lee Yoo-young, Jo Woo-jin, Yoon Se-ah, Jang Seung-jo, Lee Kyu-hyung, and Moon Jung-hee. With Ko So-young joining, the lineup becomes even more impressive.

Ko So-young debuted in 1992 with the KBS drama 'Tomorrow's Love' and has since worked in both television and film. Her notable works include dramas like 'Sook-hee,' 'Star,' 'Barefoot Youth,' 'Blue Fish,' 'Perfect Wife,' and films such as 'Beat,' 'Love Wind Love Song,' 'If the Sun Rises in the West,' 'Double Agent,' and 'A Day.'

Ko married fellow actor Jang Dong-gun in 2010, and they have a son and a daughter. Recently, she has been engaging with the public through variety shows, advertisements, and social media. With this agency change, all eyes are on whether she will accelerate her acting career once again.
